Community Citizenship Award given to e.Republic for Leadership and Support
December 2003 — e.Republic CEO Dennis McKenna accepted the Center for Youth Citizenship's Community Service award on behalf of e.Republic from CYC Executive Director Dr. Joseph Maloney. Mr. McKenna received the award for leadership and support of youth citizenship and education.
The Center for Youth Citizenship, founded in 1984, prepares California's young people to respect one another, our institutions, and laws; understand the responsibilities and privileges of citizenship; appreciate our democracy and develop the knowledge, skills and character to be engaged and informed participants in everyday community matters.
