Since 2003, e.Republic has been a major sponsor and producer of the annual Martin Luther King Celebration Dinner. Held at the Sacramento Convention Center, the prestigious event celebrates tolerance of diversity in race, ethnicity and religions of others. It is a premiere community event, which has evolved into an occasion where the Sacramento regions general public, political leaders and dignitaries come together in good will to celebrate the remarkable life of Mr. King and what he stood for. e.Republic has designed each of the commemorative programs for the event.

11th Annual Martin Luther King Jr. Celebration
Chris Webber, President of The Chris Webber Foundation, NBA All Star and Former Sacramento King, keynoted the 11th Annual Martin Luther King Jr. Celebration Dinner held on January 9, 2010 at the Sacramento Convention Center. "Realizing the Dream" was the theme of the dinner, which was attended by over 400 persons from community and government leaders, to businesses and Sacramento-area citizens. 10th Annual Martin Luther King Jr. Celebration
"Dare to Dream - All Things are Possible" was the theme of the 10th annual Martin Luther King Celebration held on January 10, 2009 at the Sacramento Convention Center. It was a fitting theme as the keynote speaker was Lt. Col. Lee A. Archer, who spoke of his dream of becoming an Air Force pilot and what it took for himself and others to become the Tuskegee Airmen -a group of fighter pilots who became the first black airmen in WW II. e.Republic created the special 10th anniversary program for over 500 guests, including the Mayor of Sacramento, Lt. Governor of California and a number of Tuskegee Airmen who were honored at the dinner along with Lt. Col. Archer. Pictured is Lt. Col. Archer giving his keynote address.
9th Annual Martin Luther King Jr. Celebration
The 9th Annual Martin Luther King Celebration Dinner was held on January 6th and featured author and child advocate Regina Louise. The dinner commemorated the 60th anniversary of the United Nations Declaration of Human Rights. 8th Annual Martin Luther King Jr. Dinner Celebration 2007
e.Republic sponsored and produced the 8th Annual Martin Luther King Jr. Dinner Celebration on January 6, 2007. Over 600 persons heard keynote speaker Morris S. Dees, Jr., co-founder of the Southern Poverty Law Center in Atlanta Georgia speak on Civil and Human Rights issues. 7th Annual Martin Luther King Jr. Celebration Dinner 2006
Judge Bobby DeLaughter, whom the movie Ghosts of Mississippi depicted, was the keynote speaker at the 7th annual event on January 7 2006, which celebrates the life and message of Dr. King. Judge DeLaughter spoke of his journey of bringing to justice the assassin of Civil Rights activist, Medgar Evers. Pictured at the evening's reception is Judge DeLaughter and CEO Dennis McKenna who sits on the Martin Luther King Celebration Board of Directors. e.Republic is an annual Gold sponsor of the event.

6th Annual Martin Luther King Jr. Celebration Dinner 2005
Keynote speaker Kathleen Kennedy Townsend, daughter of Senator Bobby Kennedy, addressed attendees at the 6th Annual Martin Luther King Jr. Dinner Celebration on January 8th, 2005. The dinner theme was "The Key to Equality" and celebrated the 40th anniversary of the Voting Rights Act of 1965. e.Republic CEO, Dennis McKenna and Patty Cota, Director of Corporate Communications, are pictured with Kathleen Kennedy Townsend and other guests at the pre-dinner reception.

5th Annual Martin Luther King Jr. Celebration Dinner 2004
e.Republic sponsored the 5th Annual Martin Luther King Jr. Celebration Dinner held on January 10, 2005 at the Sacramento Convention Center. The theme was "Brown v. Board -- 50 Years Later the Journey Continues". Keynote Speaker was Thurgood Marshall, Jr., son of Supreme Court Justice Thurgood Marshall who, as a lawyer for the NAACP helped lead the fight for abolition of segregation in public schools before the Supreme Court.

4th Annual Martin Luther King Jr. Celebration Dinner 2003
U.S. Congressman John Lewis, described as "one of the most courageous persons the Civil Rights Movement ever produced," was the keynote speaker for the 4th Annual Martin Luther King Celebration Dinner held on January 11th 2003. The dinner's theme, "The Second Emancipation, Celebrating the Legacy of Jackie Robinson and Branch Rickey", recognized both men who played important roles in making baseball open to anyone regardless of color.
