Government Technology Conferences and Executive Events connect government IT professionals with IT vendors and provide significant opportunities for education, cross-jurisdiction communication, professional recognition and knowledge sharing.

Each Government Technology Conference includes four to five days of education, a large expo floor and superb keynotes by industry leaders and technology gurus. Keynotes and expo floor are free to government attendees. Technical and business process training opportunities are available for a reasonable fee. GTCs include several invitation-only C-level special interest events scheduled throughout the conferences. Attendance at each conference averages 5,000 to 10,000 people.

GTC - "Best of..." events

One and two-day events involving a much anticipated awards programs recognizing the best projects to be developed by state and local government IT organizations throughout the year. "Best of..." events feature a free one-day keynote and breakout program. Select events include a second day offering public sector training opportunities for a reasonable fee. Attendance at each "Best of..." event is approximately 250 to 350 public sector decision makers.

GTC - Other Events

Throughout the year, GTC offers a handful of smaller events tailored to key public-sector audiences with specific interests. An example is the California CIO Academy - an annual event featuring leadership keynotes and an awards ceremony. The event is design by and for CIOs across California's state and local agencies.

Executive Events

Digital Government Summits

Government Technology Executive Events hosts approximately 30 one and two-day events per year. Events are normally held in the state's capital city. Each event features at least one keynote speaker, a general session and several break-out sessions. Select events include an awards program recognizing the best projects developed by state and local government IT organizations throughout the year. Registration fees vary by state and some Digital Government Summits are free to government employees. Attendance ranges from 150 to 600 key public sector decision makers and support staff.

Executive Events - Technology Forums

Government Technology Executive Events hosts a number of Technology Forums each year. These are one and two-day events held in major metropolitan areas such as New York City, Los Angeles, the San Francisco Bay Area and Dallas. These events focus on the special government IT needs of large cities. Each event features one or two keynote speakers, a general session and several break-out sessions. Registration fees vary by event and some Technology Forums are free to government employees. Technology Forums can feature a free one-day keynote/breakout program and a second day offering training opportunities at a reasonable fee. Attendance ranges from 300 to 1,500 local government IT decision makers and staff members.
