We are looking for a Bid Poster. The primary function of this job is to post Requests for Proposals (RFPs), bids, awards and other similar type documents commonly just referred to as “bids” to the Digital Government Navigator (DGN), the Digital Education Navigator (DEN), Emergency Management Navigator (EMN) and Infrastructure Navigator.

This is done by using two software websites, Watcher and Mozenda, which contain such information and then posting the data using our bid editor application to one or more Navigator sites. This requires learning how to use our system and how to select various technical categories under which to post them. The Bid Poster may be called upon to assist in other duties as well such as posting contact information and other relevant data.

This position is based out of Folsom, CA.


  • Posts, updates and categorizes Bids, RFP’s and Awards that are IT related.
  • Searches for new URLs.

Work flow samples as follows:

  • Accesses Website Watcher: Runs check of 600-700 URLs, Reviews all URLs which have changed
  • Accesses Mozenda: Goes to the bid list or prequalified bids list, Reviews the data and determine if it’s a relevant IT bid or update, Posts bids to Navigator
  • Manually goes through about (30-60) websites per day for IT/RFP/ updates and posts them to Navigator
  • Reads through procurement documents to assess if bids are valid to post and to obtain all required information.
  • Updates the Procurement Source Listing area (i.e., Inventory of bid URLs) if a URL changes. This is also updated in the software in Website Watcher.
  • Updates in Navigator on how much production is spent on each type, whether Mozenda or Website watcher or other projects daily.
  • Maintaining current URLs by updating any broken links.
  • Assisting in quality control on bids posted within the bid poster team.
  • Assisting in the maintenance of the inventory of all Bid Source URL.
  • Collection of additional bid source URLs.


  • Highly organized in order to handle high volume workload.
  • Willingness to learn the technical information necessary to perform the needed functions of the job such as IT categorizations and definitions.
  • Ability to work quickly in searching websites and posting items to the various Navigators.
  • Proficient and accurate typing skills.
  • Highly detail oriented.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills with both manager and teammates.
  • Familiarity with basic Microsoft Office suite programs particularly Word, Excel and Outlook.
  • Can navigate Government websites to learn necessary information.
