About the job:
We put on over 150 events per year, and as a Registration Coordinator, you will be assigned events with a targeted number of government attendees to register, and will work closely with our Event Directors and Registration in this process. This position requires a high volume of outreach (calls and emails), drafting/sending follow up emails to invitees, researching government agency websites/directories, in order to increase the list of potential invitees, management of invitee/attendee lists in excel database, creating attendee badges prior to assigned events, shipping of event materials prior to assigned events and travel to events, as assigned. You will joining a great team of established Registration Coordinators who will help train and support you as you learn the position.
Ideal candidates will possess high level customer service skills, proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, an ability to work in a fast paced environment, strong organizational and prioritization skills, an ability to type 55 wpm. Must have excellent verbal and written communication, an ability to travel to assigned events and be highly professional and detail oriented. Prior experience with Salesforce and Filemaker Pro is preferred (not required).
