e.Republic Announces Director of Publishing for Converge
Sacramento, Calif. -- February 2, 2009 -- e.Republic's education division, Converge, has named Jessica Jones as Director of Publishing where she oversees print, online and custom publishing. She continues to hold the position of Editor of its award-winning quarterly, Converge magazine, which informs senior education policy leadership on the role of technology in K-12 schools and higher education.
Prior to this, Jones worked as a technical publishing specialist at CH2M HILL, an international engineering firm. She rejoins e.Republic where she had previously worked for five years - her last position as Editor of Emergency Management magazine which won numerous awards for editorial excellence under her direction.
Converge houses the Center for Digital Education, a full time research institute dedicated to the education market. Converge is a division of e.Republic, Inc. , a national publishing, research, event, and new media company focused on information technology for the state/local government and education markets.
