eRepublic launches Texas Technology Magazine

FOLSOM, CA (November 11, 2005) Texas Technology, a regional magazine created for Texas state, city, county and education IT executives, has been launched by Folsom publisher e.Republic, Inc.

Texas Technology is a quarterly magazine with an initial circulation of 30,000. The initial 52 page folio showcases statewide best practices, leadership, and information management to the public sector.

The first issue's cover story features Texas Rep. Carl Isett, and State Sen. Robert Duncan as author and sponsor, respectively, of recently enacted HB 1516 which consolidated Texas IT services under the State Department of Information Resources. Other editorial includes how technology is being used by the Texas Department of Criminal Justice and how state and local government teamed with private sector to build solutions for Katrina evacuees.
