Converge Magazine Re-Launches February 2006

Folsom, CA (February 8, 2006) Converge, a magazine focused on education technology strategy and leadership has been re-launched by Folsom based publisher e.Republic, Inc. Converge launched as a print publication in 1999, was converted to a digital format in 2003 and beginning this February, Converge will appear in both digital and print format.

The 68 page folio provides thought leadership on policies, strategies and best practices for legislatures, policy makers, and education executives. Converge will re-launch as a quarterly publication with a circulation of 25,000.

"We are very excited about the re-launch of Converge," says Marina Leight, Vice President of the Center for Digital Education and Publisher for Converge. "We are back by popular demand with a K-12 focus and a carefully crafted readership that defines leadership in education."

The magazine debuts in February with a cover story featuring the Honorable Melvin "Kip" Holden, mayor of Baton Rouge. Other editorial features include economic development articles, innovative technology case studies and a legislative analysis designed to help lawmakers understand the critical role technology plays in the future of education.

"With a new look and a carefully designed editorial strategy, we know Converge will provide the strategic thinking and thought leadership needed by our policy makers and elected officials to make informed decisions about the future of our schools," says Leight. "The mission for Converge is to bridge the disconnection between policy and funding for technology in our schools."
