eRepublic expands frequency of award winning Public CIO magazine

Folsom, CA (August 5, 2005) Responding to strong reader and advertiser response, Government Technology's Public CIO magazine will increase frequency to 6 times a year starting in February 2006. Currently circulated quarterly, Public CIO has had remarkable success since inception 2 years ago, receiving 3 major editorial awards for excellence, including being named as among the Top 10 U.S. business, trade and association magazines in its division by the American Society of Business Publication Editors (ASBPE). Its steady growth has opened it to international readership and in August 2005 it published its largest issue yet with year-to-date ad revenues up 30% over last year.

Public CIO's editorial mission is to provide thought leadership on policies, strategies and best practices to c-level public sector IT executives and their peers. It reaches executives in Federal, State, local and international jurisdictions.

The company will be adding a Washington D.C. editor to support the expansion of the magazine as well as expanding web presence for public sector CIO's and a broader offering of tailored events for government IT leaders.
