Responsibilities

  • Compiles audience reports and promotional list pulls using complex database queries with multi-field, multi-value and advanced logic.
  • Coordinates internally to fulfill promotional list pulls and database update requests.
  • Verifies a high volume of contact roles daily to maintain an up-to-date directory of contacts.
  • Locates contacts through government websites and external directories or lists.
  • Reviews data for errors or incompleteness and locates additional data as needed.
  • Evaluates government role functions and hierarchies to code directory demographics.
  • Maintains target government jurisdictions and department structure in the CRM.
  • Updates data in the CRM through both manual data entry and imports across multiple database objects.
  • Upholds a very high level of data accuracy, completeness, and timeliness.
  • Researches new accounts and leads in external databases.
  • Manages telemarketing campaigns for white paper lead generation.
  • Coordinates monthly letter outreach to a targeted audience list.
  • Handles customer inquiries and subscription requests via phone and email.
  • Provides support with custom projects as needed.

Qualifications

  • Intermediate to advanced Microsoft Excel skills (VLOOKUP function, pivot tables, pivot charts, complex formulas)
  • Very proficient in Word/Outlook and ability to type at least 40 wpm
  • Experience with Salesforce is a plus
  • Excellent verbal and written communications skills, friendly phone etiquette
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy
  • High production with the ability to stay focused on repetitive tasks
  • Analytical ability is required for problem solving, gathering and summarizing data for reports and prioritizing work
  • Quick learner, flexible in responsibilities and highly organized
  • Excellent time management and able to work alone with minimal supervision
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, is required
Ability to write coherently and logically, using proper grammar and punctuation
Moderately proficient with MS Excel, Word, Outlook
A capacity for independent and autonomous work within a team environment
The ability to manage multiple projects and competing timelines as assignments are received
Understanding and application of basic business standards of etiquette, behaviors, written and verbal communications, demeanor
Experience with market research, competitive intelligence, and/or business intelligence or related areas is a plus, but is not required
Familiarity and basic use with Salesforce is a plus, but is not required
Experience in either the education or government sectors is a plus, but is not required
